Hi. My name is Ally, and I have a LOT of hobbies. One might even say I’m notorious for having too many, but I like to attribute it to a healthy serving of ADHD and a lot of passion. Mostly the adhd. This blog will serve as a catch-all for all of those passions, from writing and podcasting to watching reality tv, woodworking, and more. For now, my hobbies are limited to the following list but you never know… I could add (or, let’s be real, will add) many along the way.

Here’s a little more about me:

I LOVE potatoes. Seriously, I think they’re my favorite food hands down. French fries, roasted potatoes, LATKES, I love them all. I’ve been a staunch potato lover since ’97 and I don’t see that stopping any time soon.

I am a writer. Copywriting makes up a large portion of my day job (hello blog writers, lol) but I also am working on a novel, and of course, because I can never just do one thing, I have a few nonfiction book ideas floating around in my brain.

I ramble. A lot. It’s that age-old ADHD curse, I guess. I have a lot to say and not a ton of places to say it, so if I can’t catch a friend at the right time, or my partner Ryan at literally any point, you’re going to reap the benefits. Or suffer. You decide which. Anyway, I don’t have a strong filter (sorry mom) and I certainly love a four letter word sooo if that’s not your speed… adios.

I mentioned the ADHD thing, but this is probably a good time to mention I am not of the heterosexual persuasion. I love The Straights as much as anyone can, but personally things are a lot more fluid. I’m not sure that this should matter on my craft blog, but well, no homophobes allowed here.

I love to read, and I specifically love a good cozy mystery with some romance thrown in. You can find me on goodreads (I know, I know, but I’ve been on it for 13 years) and hopefully, by the time this goes live, on storygraph where the bookish ramblings will be contained.

Lastly, this is just for fun, so be nice to each other, and don’t take life so seriously, or whatever.
