My birthday was yesterday, and this naturally means I’ve forgotten almost every gift that I’ve ever received except the ones I literally just got. Shoutout to my mom, brother, friends, and boyfriend, who gave me those gifts yesterday and today. You guys are the best and make me feel so loved. 🙂
ANYWAY so the recent gifts I got were lovely. My mom gave me a Valentine’s Day themed cow that twerks to ‘Milkshake’ by Kelis, which had us cackling in her car. She also gave me a sweatshirt from this brand that was clearly made for me… because it has Favorite Daughter emblazoned on the front. THANKS MOM (I know you’re reading this).
My brother gave me something that I knew I’d love, sent to him, and promptly forgot about, so naturally, I loved it (I may be easy to surprise but at least I know what I like).
Ryan, god bless him, gets stressed out about this sort of thing every time because…
Well I think it’s because I am a great gift giver (Ps. check out Uncommon Goods if you ever get stuck) and he wants to match my energy. But truthfully, it’s kind of cute how flustered he gets. Point being, I love the gifts he gives me… but this time he really knocked it out of the park. He got me… drumroll please… an adorable Kate Spade purse that LOOKS LIKE A HEDGEHOG. It’s this chic little mint green crossbody with incredible detail (IT HAS FEET) and I just love it. There’s so much personality in it, and I’ve gotten like 6 compliments since I started wearing it at 6pm last night. Plus, IYKYK there’s a bit of a petty aspect to this gift as well, which makes it all the sweeter. Shoutout to a caring king.
So are they the best gifts I’ve EVER gotten? I don’t know, but they were perfect for me.
