Fun fact: the dress I wore on one of my favorite Japan days is the dress I got engaged in, AND the dress I saw Big Ben (not the inside. Don’t get me started) in. It’s my favorite, and I keep an eye on Poshmark for another all the time. Thanks, LOFT!

Before we left for Japan, I googled EVERYTHING because of course I did. I know I have ADHD and I can be a little chaotic, but in my heart I am a planner and a bit of a control freak. I found a ton of stuff but was trying to be chill, so I didn’t schedule anything.
At dinner the night prior, I re-found a planetarium near our hotel that looked SO cool, and most importantly, had an awesome bed-seat thing that was only $5 extra. I booked it immediately.

So I show up, and I’m immediately obsessed. There’s a full menu of space-inspired treats, drinks included, and the gift shop/vibes are impeccable. Once I grab my English translator, I head inside to find my space bed. It’s absolutely everything I could have dreamed of. I kind of want one for my house.

The show itself (I can’t remember the title exactly, but the English translation was Journey of The Stars: Earth Edition) and it was pretty cool! I like random science-y stuff like that, and the visuals of what the stars look like at each area of the Earth were stunning.
When the show was over, I simply HAD to indulge in the space themed treats, and get myself a couple iconic souvenirs (including several mini snow globes featuring my beloved space bed). There was a donut, a savory/sweet treat box, and a light-up lemonade package that had jelly in it…that sounds weird, I know, but it was soooooo good. Also I got a mocktail (though they had cocktails) mostly due to its coloring, but it was amazing.

The rest of my day, you ask? Well, I was conflicted. There were two highly recommended things to do, but both were a train ride away…and I had no idea how to buy tickets. Luckily, me and my partially accurate Google Translate app figured it out though, and after a brief detour regarding a bright pink ping pong table, I was off.

As it turns out, Miramoto shopping street and Yokohama Chinatown are relatively close to each other, but I went with the street—only partially because it felt weird to eat Chinese food as a tourist in Japan. Mostly, if I’m being honest, this was due to the whole ‘preloved luxury is cheaper in Japan’ of it all, cause I needed a new wallet (practical) or a new bag (emotional).
WELL I FOUND ONE hehe.

I adore my wallet, which ofc is black with gold (toned) hardware, and from Celine/a random store on the strip. I also popped into some jewelry shops, but the mega star of the show were the wood craftsmen, with their gigantic planks and cool designs I plan on recreating if possible.
Good god this blog feels long. What else did I do… Oh! I went to a little Japanese BBQ spot for an ‘I forgot to eat lunch” snack and then it was back to the hotel with Ryan to sleep, eat, and do it all again in the AM.

Okay, byeeeeeeee.
(PS: The 7/11 strawberry and cream sando is mid.)
